Dr. Bristol Williams

Meet .

Dr. Bristol Williams has one simple goal in mind and that’s to uplift the community and to bring confidence back into their lives one smile at a time. Her patients fondly call her Dr. B and she’s often working in the Greater New Orleans and Atlanta area. Dr. Williams is the owner of 2 dental offices in the Greater New Orleans. Dr. Williams, born and raised in St. Louis, spend most of her childhood in her dad’s Periodontist office and with her mother who is a retired school teacher. Both of her parents pushed education as the highest priority. Her older sister is a dentist and younger sister is a lawyer and they all understand their strict upbringing would be worth it in the end.

Dr. Williams followed her father’s footsteps as a Periodontist and attended Rutgers University, Xavier University, University of Tennessee and Meharry Medical College during her dental journey. Dr. Williams saw herself in Atlanta after her residency in Tennessee and opened her first practice in 2009. Dr. Williams opened two offices in the city but after her lease was up, she knew New Orleans would be her next stop to continue her purpose of helping others. Especially after she found out there were not any African American Periodontists in the city of New Orleans, she knew there was yet another feat to conquer. Dr. Williams continues to break barriers in the city of New Orleans by once again filling a void in the city by opening an office catering to the Hispanic community.

You can find Dr. B traveling often in between managing her dental offices. “Traveling helps you understand other people, and accepting other people as they are. Milan is my favorite place to visit to enjoy the city and eat.”

Dr. Williams doesn’t set goals, instead, she listens and is present in the situation and enjoys the journey. “I’ve fallen in love with helping people, my ministry literally comes through my hands. I’m looking forward to what’s next.”

CORONAVIRUS HEALTH UPDATE

Our dear patients,

We hope that this message reaches you well and in good spirits during this trying time. As this global pandemic continues to run its course, we sincerely hope that you are doing your best to take care of yourself physically and mentally. While we are unable to operate business as usual, we are still here for you in cases of emergency. If you find that you are experiencing dental pain, tooth fracture, uncontrolled oral bleeding, and/or extreme sensitivity, please do not hesitate to give us a call at 404-549-2650. We are available for virtual consults or will get you scheduled to come into the office.

Unfortunately, we will be operating in this limited fashion for an uncertain amount of time and will be sure to notify you once it is safe to continue non-emergency treatment. Here, at Brookhaven Dental Group, we have always practiced CDC and OSHA standards of infection and will continue to operate only under their direction.

In the spirit of a line from a poem that China sent to Italy, “We are all waves from the same sea.” Meaning that no matter where you are or how this pandemic may be affecting you, we’re all in it together. The ebb and flow of life right now is not what we’re used to but staying in place is necessary to get us to our new normal quicker.

Thank you to each one of you for being such a vital part of the reason why BDG just celebrated 2 years of being in practice. We’re here when you need us and look forward to seeing you again soon.

Be well,
Dr. Brown
